CEVA in Chile announces important changes in its organization

Santiago, Chile, 29 October 2009 - CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has announced a number of changes to its organization structure, including the appointment of Alberto Balsamo as its new Country Manager in Chile.Balsamo has over 15 year's managerial experience in various sectors throughout Chile and Argentina. His roles have included Operations Manager at Danone and Operations and Business Development Director at Ryder. Balsamo's experience extends across various areas including consumer and retail as well as the technology sector. He graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree from UADE University in Argentina.
Commenting on his new role, Alberto Balsamo said: "The main objectives ahead will be to continue expanding operations among current customers, optimizing our services and offering unique solutions to the market".
Mauricio Galindo, who has occupied this position for the past two years, is moving to a new role within CEVA as the Multi Country Latin Area (MCLA) Sales and Business Development Manager. He will be based in Miami, USA. The MCLA covers Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Central America.
"My goal is to ensure solid growth and provide customer focused solutions in all these countries for which I have been made responsible", explains Galindo.
Galindo has worked for CEVA since 2001. He holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida and next year he will begin his MBA studies at the University of Miami.
These new changes highlight the introduction of fresh approaches that will be added to CEVA's existing business expertise. This new organizational structure brings with it new experience and innovative approaches to CEVA operations worldwide.
