RFID, which stands for Radio Frequency Identification, is such a technology.RFID chips are used in tags the size of small pieces of paper. When attached to objects, RFID tags can communicate data about those objects to computer systems across the supply chain.
The use of RFID tags in supply chain operations leads to substantial process improvements. This includes increased efficiency, improved visibility of parts, lower number of errors and significant cost savings for our customers.
